Volunteers play an important role in the success of the Calgary Rowing Club. From regattas to summer programs, our volunteers help create safe, organized, and enjoyable experiences for athletes, families, and visitors. Whether you are a current member, a parent, or someone who simply loves being part of an active community, there is always a meaningful way to get involved.
Where volunteers are needed
Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year and may include roles both on and off the water. These roles range from marshalling and timing to event setup, safety support, and general assistance. Key volunteer needs include:
- Alberta Open
- Dinos Sprints/Head of the Weasel
- Summer camps
- Club events and community activities
- Bingos and bi-annual casinos
DID YOU KNOW? Volunteering for BINGO and casinos results in $75 credit per event participation that can be used towards membership or other fees.
How to Volunteer
