The CRC Athlete Bursary has been created by the Calgary Rowing Club with a donation from a
family in our rowing community. The purpose of the Bursary is to provide financial support to
athletes based on their pursuit of excellence in rowing. The bursary is awarded annually during
the on-water season at the discretion of the selection committee; this award may not be
awarded if there are no suitable candidates in any given year.
The CRC will award up to $2500 to eligible athletes. These funds help offset program fees,
regatta attendance, or other expenses necessary for continuous development in the sport.
To be eligible you must be:
– A current, registered member of the CRC
– Demonstrated commitment and dedication to the sport of rowing
– Uphold values of the Calgary Rowing Club
The application process includes the application from with a series of short written
statements about how you meet the values of the CRC and your rowing goals for the
season.

Applications open April 30th and close May 15th
Applications must be submitted to office@calgaryrowing.com by 11:59pm on May 15th 2026, to be
eligible for consideration.
